This is one of my all time favorite photographs that I took. So many factors worked together to create this image. One of the most important ones being that there are no tourists in the photo despite it being tourist season when I took this. The moment was so serene and quiet that it allowed you to take in the space as if you are walking around a quiet museum looking at the masterpieces that surround you. When you stand right in the middle, the columns create perfect visual symmetry which adds to the stillness of the scene, a sense of peace of mind. The colors all work together in neutral tones so as to all work in harmony. So all I did was muse on my surroundings. Admire the architecture, listen to that fountain in the background and the birds flying by and for a moment in time pretend I was visiting the 1600s when this masterpiece was built.
