This Town Preserves The Beautiful In The Old

This Town Preserves The Beautiful In The Old

This past summer my beautiful cousin got married. We grew up together and I’ve always admired her. I’m so happy she found her other half, someone who also happens to be a pretty cool guy. It was a very special wedding and am thankful I got to participate as a bridesmaid. As a wedding destination, they chose San Miguel de Allende. If you’ve never been, this place is straight out of a storybook, amazing. This city makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The architecture is old and quaint, the colorful walls of the buildings and houses are what I think is trademark Mexico. The streets are of cobblestone and narrow, the people are so kind and the weather just may beat out California.  Did I mention the food? Actually since its Mexico, that should go without saying, right? Can you tell I have a total weak spot for real Mexican cuisine?  Sadly, no food shots on this trip, however, plenty of shots of the city walking around the city.
