One year anniversary
For our one year anniversary, Michael and I went to New York. While we were packing he noticed that I had not included my tennis shoes and so he tried to convince me to take them because we were going to be walking A LOT. After arguing our differences between functionality and, well, what I think is pretty, he said he would take my tennis shoes for me with his line of “I told you so” ready to go with it. I just planned on wearing my loved AND comfortable Tory’s
. For what it’s worth, we did do a lot more walking than I expected, but nonetheless, I was just fine with my shoes ;)
We were there for a couple of days and played tourists from the top of Manhattan to our Lady Liberty all by foot! (Of course spread out in three days)
While I would love to share all 300 photos with you, I’ve narrowed it down to just a few.
There is a lot of architecture, not sure what it is but these buildings have so much character and if only they could talk, all the history and stories they would tell us! I think my favorite part of New York was Chelsea Market. It is literally a market but inside a really cool building where you have coffee shops, restaurants, a boulangerie, a specialty tea store. I loved it because it combines most everything I love, an old building, pastries and good coffee.
